Meanwhile back in Warrington…
…… on an industrial estate, at 11 Tanning Court I happen across three loveley ladies dressed as tables! Yes indeed this is how it’s done at The Print Company, who specialise in printing table cloths. What better way to show off your product than enlist Manchester Drag Queens Cheddar Gawjus, Licorice Black, and trans Grace Oni Smith to wear them! Grace, by the way is the style director at Born. Born is a makeup and styling studio specialising in trans beauty and confidence building. In addition they offer speech and voice therapy to help with feminising the voice. They also provide help to find that perfect outfit and bespoke wig cutting and shaping . All the team are trans or trans allies with a great track record in this field. The team have years of experience and have been carefully vetted so you can be assured of the very best service and techniques. They were all down in Coventry last week at the biggest print trade event of the year making a splash! Go girls!
I used my portable studio set up for the job, with three flash heads and a paper roll background to create clean minimal setting to shoot in. The images were then cut and pasted onto The Print Company’s own display stand for use at the trade show in Coventry.
