Cut to the chase, there are around 200,000 actors looking for work in the UK. Less than 3% will earn more than £20,000 from acting, so, unless you present yourself properly to casting directors and agents there is little hope of you ever making a career out of this wonderful industry. Your headshot is the most important marketing tool you have, period! The first stage of any casting process is looking at headshots. So make sure yours is working for you. Few casting directors will give you a second glance if your headshot is naff, snapped on a mate’s iPhone. With a professional picture underpinned with guidance and direction you stand a better chance of getting auditions and presenting yourself in person.

For the shoot think about offering strong but subtle expression that will draw interest. Consider a varied wardrobe of tops with different necklines. Choose clothes that suit your brand and shape. Avoid distracting patterns. Most importantly approach your shoot with loads of positive energy!

Professional headshot sessions can be provided on location, or hear at my studio, or, if you’re a student at your college, pending appropriate permission.

Individual sessions here at the studio cost £125.00. Location shoots start from £155.00. Both last an hour and include 10-20 optimised high resolution digital images.
