Promotional photography at Salford Quays and Liverpool for recruitment company, Building Careers

I spent a day working for recruitment company, Building Careers.  As Specialists in Construction and Property Recruitment, Building Careers supply temporary and permanent recruitment solutions to their clients and candidates across the UK. The company provides bespoke solutions for all recruitment needs.

My brief was to capture the youth and energy with a combination of reportage and relaxed staff portraiture of this North West based recruitment company, who are making serious inroads into this very competitive sector. They have grown rapidly since their launch in 2007. With offices, in Salford Quays, Liverpool, Leeds, Plymouth, Skelmersdale and London the company understands and appreciates the value of its candidates. Their aim is to offer a complete and professional service which includes suitable constructive feedback on CV’s, interviews and most importantly keeping you informed throughout the process including guaranteeing aftercare procedures to ensure that you remain satisfied with our service.

In addition, Building Careers, International was established in 2008 offering candidates alternative employment locations further afield. This resulted in Building Careers dedicating an arm of the company purely focused on locations in the UAE and the rest of the world. The results where breath taking resulting in the company opening a satellite office in Abu Dhabi demonstrating their commitment to service the local market effectively.

Building Careers Acquisition & Sale also has a proven track record at matching companies that wish to either buy or sell within Construction and related industries.

From my view point the job was easy. The two, highly motivated offices I visited were full of energy, enthusiasm and humour and delivered countless photographs that captured the essence of the company. In addition to the documentary styled photography I provided there was also a requirement to shoot a number of business portrait head shots for some members of staff who wished to update their pictures on the business website together with Social Media sites like LinkedIn. Given the abundance of natural light, in both offices there was no need to set up portable studio flash for the business portraits. All were shot just with available light.
